At first I thought I saw a moose in the brush ahead. But instead it was John and Rod, who were hoping to backpack the PWT. They hiked as far a Superstition Lake and that's where the logging road ended and wall of treeefalls started. There is more to the story, they were told by USFS Tofte office that the trail has been cleared in past and that seven mile northern segment to Pose Lake was cleared this spring. Someone forgot to tell the Forest Service about the 1,800+ treefalls still on the trail. Nevertheless, it was great to get John and Rod's impression of the trail!
