BWAC > Banning State Park offers excellent training ground for physical fitness. Hiking along the shore of Kettle River is challenging because of uneven, rocky ground.
BWAC > View upstream toward Blueberry Slide. Here in April and May many kayakers play.
BWAC > The formidable "Dragon's Tooth" is clearly visible in middle of the river. Note the ice covered ledge on the right making a dangerous training ground.
BWAC > Dog leash rope became a make shift belay. Notice how the belayer pays attention to proper tension on the rope. One only hopes that the rope was wrapped around his back side and held firmly by the other hand.
